Structure

The Youth institution belongs to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in Cambodia. Its organisational structure begins at the ministerial level and works its way down to the district and school levels.

The role of the Ministry is to educate the youth and children through a multitude of organs. The youth and children are exposed to various types of subjects, such as, moral education, technical repair, construction, tourism, animal raising and handicraft. These subjects enable them to understand Khmer traditions and customs that mirror national, ancient culture which our ancestors maintained. This culture is also reflected through sculptures of ancient temples, documents and daily living standards. We can practically see the civilisations identity on 1081 castles and temples, all of which face the east, with the exception of the Angkor Wat temple which faces the west.
