The objective of the Ministry of Youth and Sports is to create a moral, disciplined and united youth community who can participate actively in social and economic activities which in turn contribute towards the unity of the country.
The main divisions of the Ministry are: Management, Policy Planning and Development Division; Youth Division; Sports Division; and The Office of the Commissioner of Sports. To complement the functions of the ministry, the National Sports Council and the Stadium Merdeka Corporation are placed under the aegis of the Ministry.
